ELECTRONIC REVOLUTION
For some years Flexy has been the best narrow-web machine if we consider the ratio quality/price. It has been the only one allowing a sure success to printing companies that have chosen it for their production of labels, plastic film for packaging and light cartons thanks to its own features of reliability, technology and flexibility.
Today Flexy is available in the new electronic version with brushless servomotors (Flexy-S), offering a simple solution of problems connected with torsional stiffness and clearance transmission. With 2 servomotors for each printing unit – a specific one for the plate-holding axis and another one for the printing unit (counter roll, cooling cylinder, anilox roll, rubber roll) – it is possible to print at an infinitesimally changeable pitch and have a better control on the print register thanks to the encoder resolution on the same axis as the motor. It is also possible an in-line insertion of the Twin-Cut unit for self-adhesive labels (initially developed for the Varyflex line, it allows producing all printing formats without having to change the magnetic cylinders, with a remarkable production-cost saving), a connection via internet for remote assistance and automatic machine-integrated register control.
The machine compactness and the register stability allow very low runs without wasting material. The new operator’s interface panel ensures digital visualization of all production and safety parameters of the machine.
The possibility of having in-line flexo, silk-screen, hot and cold-foil units guarantees an extreme flexibility in production.

In-line tooling for COLD-FOIL print placed on the rotary die-cutting station. A UV-glue film LAMINATING UNIT is also available on demand, to be placed on the last printing unit.

"TWIN CUT" DIE-CUTTING UNIT FOR LABELS: alternated die cutting at constant-speed rotation of the cylinders during the cutting phase, deceleration and acceleration of the rotation speed in the quiescent phase. This solution allows making labels in different formats without replacing the magnetic cylinder. Automatic register control between die-cut and print.

SILK-SCREEN PRINTING UNIT: With independent motors, it offers the operator multiple adjustment possibilities and allows carrying our pre-register to check the level.
